How often do you publish new posts?

I try to publish at least 1 post every week, so weekly. In some cases I will publish once every 5 days depending on the urgency of the topic.

Can I subscribe to get updates?

So I’ve been working on a subscription/newsletter feature but I’m still trying to figure out the best options available. In the meantime, you can check on the blog regularly, every week. 🙂

Can I share your posts on social media?

YES. I highly encourage to use the share buttons and share on social media.

Where can I contact you with questions or feedback?

So I’m currently trying to set up a place to receive feedback. I tried creating a contact me form, but due to technical issues it didn’t work. I do have social media and the links are in the top right corner of the site. You can also send me a message that is blog/website related and I will do my best to get back to you!

Can I suggest topics for you to cover?

Yes, I love getting new suggestions on topics. 🙂

Can I reference your posts in my work?

Yes, you can. All my work is written by me. Just give credit and if you can, share the site or article you took the reference from.

Why can’t I comment on older blog posts?

So I use to have discussions open for an immeasurable amount of time, but due to the blog gaining some traffic, spam also increased. To mitigate this, I decided to close the discussion after a certain amount of time. So that is why you cannot comment on much older posts.

It is unfortunate, and I am hoping to implement captcha or a better spam detector soon. Please bear with me, as I am still learning as I go!

The song is Une Barque Sur L’océan by André Laplante. A very beautiful calming song.

Did you create the site on your own or did you hire a web dev?

I created the site myself, but I used wordpress.org and got a host and a domain. All the extra tweaking was of course due to my own personal tastes.

I believe it is called Impressionist.

Did you draw the Bruce GIF on the About page?

Yes. I drew that picture of Bruce hiding in one of those felt nooks. I used an app called Procreate. ☺️

How do you balance blogging with your everyday life?

I feel like writing weekly definitely helps as I am a busy person. Making sure to dedicate blogging time is also useful. It usually only takes me about 30 minutes to an hour to write an article.
