Hello everyone, it’s been 84 years. ðŸ˜
November was the longest month of the year. Was it because of the changing weather or all of the incredible memories I created?
This month was chock full of great music, movies, and books. So without further ado… Here is the list of my November favorites!
Ripe by Tanerélle
From one of my top 3 favorite artists. Tanerélle makes moody music that just hits your soul. This song is the one you listen to when you yearn for all kinds of wonderful scenarios like a hopeless romantic.
It definitely helped me get through some bumps in November but it also allowed me to indulge in a vision of what could be. This song is best listened to when you’re driving down a long lonely road in the dead of night, with the only light source being the passing neighborhood lights as you journey back home.
The Hunger Games (2012) directed by Gary Ross

After watching the trailer for the newest installment of The Hunger Games world (Sunrise on the Reaping), I thought it would be great to bring it back to the film that started it all. The Hunger Games is a dystopian film based on the novel of the same name.
The story follows Katniss Everdeen, a girl competing in the annual Hunger Games. The Hunger Games are a televised event in which children fight to the death until one remains.
Probably one of my favorite series of all time, with amazing layered characters, plot, and commentaries on politics, class, war, and more. It’s no wonder that this series is so popular. There’s a little bit of everything for everyone!
Poems of Gratitude by Emily Fragos (Everyman’s Library)

This is a book I devoured just in time for Thanksgiving. A compilation of poems all about one topic. Gratitude.
This is a treat for those who like to reflect and appreciate the amazing things they have in life. It’s sectioned into different subjects such as gratitude for friends, family, love and health, to name a few.
I hope you find it nourishing to the spirit as well as to the soul. 🌟
