My February 2026 Favorites

By

Hello everyone! It’s been almost a whole month since I was able to post. Last month was a tough time to sit down and get anything done. I got sick twice and as a result had to bump up a couple of appointments.

But I am now at a comfortable place to sit down and tell you my favorite things about February 2026!

Valentine by Laufey

To keep in theme with the month, I give you this cute song I found from another person online. They shared this as their perfect song to add to their instagram carousel come Valentine’s.

It’s soothing, gentle, and adorable. As someone who likes celebrating the holiday (regardless if I have a valentine or not), this has become my new favorite staple of the holiday much like Last Christmas by Wham for every Christmas.

If you’re similar and also get starry eyed once the holiday rolls around, I recommend this song to help keep your dreams and fantasies alive!

Disney’s Cinderella (1950)

An absolute classic! Disney’s Cinderella still holds up incredibly well. I hadn’t seen it for years and was able to notice things I hadn’t before.

I decided to catch this again after going on a Disney movie binge while I was sick (I needed something light to comfort me) and this film was the perfect to watch. It’s about a girl forced to be a housekeeper to her evil stepmother and sisters.

I never noticed just how cruel the stepmother was but watching it as an adult again made me realize poor Cinderella had it really bad. Cinderella never stops hoping and being optimistic.

I recommend it for those who need to be reminded that even through our darkest periods we can always find the will to hope and shed a little light.

Bridgerton Season 4

So with this pick you can probably guess what the common theme of the month was. Love stories galore.

Bridgerton is the most ideal show to watch if you’re anything like me (a hopeless yearner). The new season of Bridgerton gave us romantics an entire feast.

The season follows a Cinderella-like story with a maid crashing a ball, meeting, and falling in love with a Bridgerton nobleman. As a result, chaos ensues, desire grows strong, and logic goes out the window as the couple try desperately to be together.

If you’re a fan of the forbidden love trope or love a good Cinderella story, this is the season for you!
